solving equations, simplifying like terms
Solving Algebraic expressions
Number theory: primes, factors,
divisibility rules
Geometry
Ratio. proportion and percent
Linear equations and inequalities
Probability(permutations,
counting technique, venn diagrams, etc.)
There will also be projects:
Polygon Project
Millions Project
Geometry Project
All students participate in Math Lab once a week. 10% of their math grade will come from this class. Math Lab is an activity-based program which includes the following:
Perimeter and Area
Decimals and Fractions
Probability
Solving Equations
Geometry
MCAS review
