Famous Mathematicians
Scavenger Hunt
Search,
Find, and Learn
The
goal of this scavenger hunt is to give each of you an opportunity to explore
the Internet to learn about math's history and the people who developed
their ideas into the math we have today. Keep a piece of paper handy
so that you can be writing down your answers. Also, keep track of
each mathematician's year of birth because you will need that information
for a later activity. Bring your answers to school for some extra
credit on the next test!! (I will tell you what test this can be added
to when we get to it. You are welcome to do this hunt at any time
and then hold onto it until the right time.)
Good Luck!!!
